Departure for Republic of North Macedonia via Gyueshevo. Arrival in Kriva Palanka. Saturday is a market day here - you will have the chance to see the local market where people sell their produce. Lunch at a local restaurant amidst beautiful scenery in the vicinity of Kriva Palanka. Departure for Osogovo monastery, located just a few minutes drive from the town, in the valley of Sarandopor river. This is one of the largest and most interesting holy places in the Balkans. Sightseeing tour of the complex, including the two central churches, dedicated to the founder of the monastery - St. Joachim of Osogovo, and to Virgin Mary. Return to Sofia in the late afternoon.
