This is the longest travel lift in Bulgaria - 6270 м. It overcomes amplitude of 1083 m. The travel lasts 30 min., and the capacity is 1500 pax/hour. It was built for the Universiada in 1983 and was officially opened on April 4, 1983. The lift is produced by the Austrian firm Doppelmaier. The lower lift station is in Simeonovo – at an altitude of 727 m. The first intermediate lift station is at 1377 m and this is the final of the first part of the lift. The second intermediate lift station is at 1520 m. Тhe skiers come down here in the winter so that they can go to the three-seat lift Academica, which serves Vitoshko Lale track.
