The Sofia International Book Fair takes place several times per year (in summertime and in wintertime) in the National Palace of Culture. Several hundred Bulgarian and foreign printing houses take part in the fair. Visitors have the chance to get to know the literature and the culture not only of Bulgaria, but also of Hungary, Argentina, Norway, Serbia, Italy. Different workshops and presentations are organized with the participation of writers, translators, illustrators and publishers. The festival is organized with the partnership of Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio, Standart, “I read”, BTV Radio, Jazz FM Radio, Enjoy Radio, Z Rock Radio, Melody Radio, Classic FM Radio, Actualno.com and IWoman.
