Exhibition: Hindliyanova House is among the most interesting examples of Baroque architecture in Plovdiv. It is built in 1835-1840 for the needs of the wealthy Plovdiv tradesman Stepan Hindliyan – nicknamed after his cantors in distant India. Today it is among the most interesting museums in Plovdiv, representing the original interior of the local houses from 19^th century. On both floors you may see wonderful fresco art, work of two local masters – landscapes from Alexandria, Istanbul, Venice, Bagdad – places the owner has visited.

     Selected from the collections: one of the few well preserved indoor bathrooms from 19^th century, beautiful rose fountain on the second floor.
