Throughout the year, there is some place in Bulgaria where a celebration or folklore festival is taking place. The largest folklore festival in the country is held every four years in the small town of Koprivshtitsa. The most famous carnival is held in Pernik - member of the International Carnival Association in Europe. Unique Rose Festival takes place every May/June in Kazanlak and Karlovo. Dip into the local atmosphere, duck into the Bulgarian spirit, join the locals having fun.
