     Exhibition: The Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv has one of the richest folklore collections in Bulgaria, representing local lifestyle. In the largest 19th century Revival house in Plovdiv you can see more than 40 000 exhibits, representing the traditional production of grains, rose oil, honey, tobacco, wine, dairy products, the activity of the craftsmen guilds in Plovdiv – homespun producers, tailors, ceramic works, blacksmiths, goldsmiths and silversmiths. On the second floor you will admire great collection of costumes from the region – laces, socks, shirts, bucklets – along with reproductions of 19th century lifestyle of wealthy and poor people; musical instruments typical for Bulgaria.

     Selected from the collections: specific wooden calendars used by local rural population; fascinating filigree ornaments for traditional women’s costumes, handmade by Plovdiv goldsmiths; huge hall on the second floor – so called "hayette" where the owner of the house would entertain his guests in the evening; interior of guestroom from the town of Koprivshtitsa and a guestroom of wealthy tradesman from Plovdiv; beautiful gardens of the house where you can really feel the atmosphere of the past;
