The metropolitan church "Birth of Mary" was erected in the thirties years of the 20th century at the place of an old church, built by Nikola Ficheto and destroyed by an earthquake in 1913. It's a cruciform building with a narthex, where the graves of some of the bishops of the Diocese of Tarnovo are located. |
